A third-generation designer, Hayley and team create cheerful spaces for casual living that offer function and are suitable for family life and flow. She finds joy in the unexpected mixing and mingling of textures and patterns resulting in an inviting aesthetic that feels connected to nature.
Before pursuing design, however, Hayley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver and spent several years in the financial services industry. Her undeniable passion for historical architecture and design was ignited while she and her husband renovated a century old Arts and Crafts home for their growing family.
Hayley’s enthusiasm for gentle nods to the English countryside are achieved through effortless juxtaposition of old and new along with the creation of bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces. The most rewarding aspect of her work is to apply her deep understanding of her clients' unique lifestyles and perfectly tailor every corner of their home to encourage meaningful interactions and memorable moments. When popping in post install, she loves stumbling upon board games or puzzles left mid-play, knowing that her clients will hunker down again that night.
Hayley serves on the Board of Trustees at an independent K-8 school. She is also a member of the Child Life and Supportive Care Council at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Hayley and team collaborate with architects and contractors to enhance century-old architecture or historically inspired new builds. From planning to installation, clients' lifestyles and personalities are cohesively woven into the youthful, refined design.
HEI reinvigorates turn-key or newly renovated spaces for connection, where family and friends can gather without hesitation.
